Vaccinations At Greenfields Your Pet Comes First

Vaccinations for Pets in Mantua

Disease Protection & Prevention

At Greenfields Veterinary Associates, we tailor our vaccine recommendations to your pet’s individual needs. While some aren’t necessary for your pets to receive, the state of New Jersey mandates that all pets receive certain vaccinations. Unvaccinated animals are more susceptible to harmful and deadly infectious diseases, which is why it is important that you ensure your pet is up to date on all required vaccinations.

For more information on which vaccines are required, give us a call at (856) 242-7966 or contact us online.

Vaccinations for Dogs

All dogs must be vaccinated for rabies as required by New Jersey state law. We also vaccinate all dogs for the distemper and parvovirus. Large dogs are vaccinated against leptospirosis. Because New Jersey has a very high incidence of Lyme disease, all dogs that are at risk for tick exposure should be vaccinated against it.

We recommend vaccinating against kennel cough and canine influenza if your dog goes to:

  • Dog parks
  • Groomers
  • Obedience classes
  • Boarding kennels

Vaccinations for Cats

All cats must be vaccinated against rabies as required by New Jersey state law. All cats in our practice against distemper and upper respiratory viruses. The feline leukemia virus vaccine may also be recommended.
